Patsy Powerhouse

Many years ago we produced a Customer Services training film for Scottish Power’s retail shops called Powerhouse. The idea was to demonstrate good and bad practice in order to train shop staff how to correctly deal with customers and improve techniques as up-selling etc.

In order to make the film interesting, the client hired an Absolutely Fabulous Patsy look-a-like to play the role of the customer. The job entailed filming a variety of amusing scenarios as we followed Patsy on her journey through the Scottish Power purchasing process, from the moment she teetered out of the taxi to her satisfied departure laden with goods.

The film was very light-hearted and tongue-in-cheek but it successfully delivered the client’s important training messages. And the staff found it a much more entertaining and engaging resource than the normal training material to which they were accustomed.

Another satisfied client.
