Films About Care

Our production team has worked a great deal with children in care, producing awareness and training films over the years for teaching and social work professionals.

These projects tend to be of an inclusive nature, where children and young people with experience of care are actively involved in the video production process. Invited to pre-production meetings the young people share their ideas and, along with care professionals, work directly with our producer and director to create the treatment for the film. They are also heavily involved in filming, either presenting to camera, narrating, providing interviews or acting out scenarios which represent the true life experiences of their peers in care.

This is an extremely effective way of enabling the voices of children and young people in care to be heard and bringing their issues, needs and perspective on the care provided to the attention of professional in social work and education.

For reasons of confidentiality, these films are not on our website.
