ASA Charity Ball

Well there are a few tired heads today as some our production team spent yesterday evening at the annual charity ball of Ayrshire Sportsability, one of the many charities our company supports, last night. As always, it was a well-attended and wonderfully entertaining black-tie event hosted at Ayr Racecourse in Scotland with a beautiful meal, auction, raffle, awards and dancing until the small hours of the morning. And at least, unlike many of the events we are involved in, this one didn’t involve the usual hard-going twelve hour shift, which makes for a far more enjoyable time! It was thoroughly enjoyable and a successful evening for the charity which provides young people with disability the opportunity to take part and compete in a wide range of sports. This year’s awards was no exception; the athletes have achieved some brilliant results.

Rumble’s involvement with Ayrshire Sportsability began several years back when we filmed Wai-yin Hatton, the Chief Executive of Ayrshire and Arran Health Board, for her nomination as Scottish Businesswoman of the Year. We were introduced to the charity she had set up, called Ayrshire Special Games at the time, and learned of her incredible passion and dedication to helping young people with disability.
